Lexi Woodall
Lexi Woodall was born and raised in Mattoon, Illinois, alongside her older brother, Clayton, and her twin sister, Mika. She graduated from Mattoon High School in 2017 and began pursuing a career in childcare soon after. In 2022, she earned her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. Since high school, Lexi has worked with children of various ages, gaining experience through coursework and practicum hours in both elementary and daycare settings.
Lexi has served in a variety of childcare roles, including previous work as a lead infant teacher in a local daycare. She learned about the opportunity to serve in the nursery at First Presbyterian Church through a former professor and felt immediately drawn to the position.
Outside of her work with children, Lexi enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially outdoors with her nephew, Oaklee. She and her husband, Alec, purchased their home in 2022, where they care for their two dogs (Scout and Koda) and four cats (Fynn, Dezie, Onyx, and Harry). Together, they enjoy working on home improvement projects. Lexi also enjoys relaxing with movies and television, particularly during colder months by the fireplace. In January 2024, Lexi and Alec welcomed their daughter, completing their family.
Lexi has a deep passion for working with children and is excited to serve at FPC. She looks forward to helping children grow, learn, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
